Chocolate Transfer Sheets!!

We decided to try something new at Stella's...Chocolate Transfer Sheets!! These wonderful and fun designs can brighten up any plain delicious cupcake!! Say goodbye to the traditional sprinkles and sugars...and say "Hello" to Transfers!!

Here's a little information about the transfers Stella's will be using:

~Transfer sheets, or "transfers," are sturdy but flexible plastic sheets coated with a mixture of cocoa butter and FDA approved food coloring.  The designs are etched in many different patterns and colors!! The opportunities are ENDLESS!!!

A busy Weekend...

It was a busy weekend for us at Stella's.  We had to make a total of 10 dozen cupcakes for a variety of parties, baby showers and gifts.  It was great, because the orders were a variation of several flavors!!! It was a great opportunity for us, and we hope everyone enjoys their cupcakes!!

New Cupcake Tower

We have bought our first cupcake tower for Stella's!! When we saw it...we fell in love with it! It has that romantic comfortable glow to it, and will hopefully brighten up any occasion...especially with Stella's cupcakes resting on top!!

Just Another Baking Day...

April 27th

A nice switch for Stella's - Blogging.  When we finally decided to put our dreams into a reality, we decided to create our own website.  We have had several "hits" all over the United States, however it was quite expensive and we thought a blog might "fit" us better (and it's free!!) It will allow us to share our trials and tribulations with you and hopefully follow us through the store opening!!  So, we are happy to be here...and we hope you enjoy our site!! There will be plenty of wonderful posts to come!!

So far, Stella's has been blessed with some rather busy days in the kitchen in April.  With the Easter holiday and many birthday and baby showers behind us, it's time to look ahead to an exciting May! 

To close out the month of April, we had another 3 dozen Stella's cupcakes order on Friday.  We have been making several modifications to our recipes to try different angles.  So...we tried a new Key Lime Cupcake and a new Coconut Cupcake!!  Below is a picture of the Stella's Red batter...YUM!! One of my favorites!!!
